This Guy Is Convinced That Pizza Hut Is Using His Face On Their Pizza Boxes
WSRZ- A dad in the U.K. claims that during a recent outing to Pizza Hut, his photo was taken and now a drawing of it is being used on pizza boxes at the chain. A month ago, Nick Richardson started receiving texts from friends and family asking how he got his face used on the boxes. Nick complained and Pizza Hut responded that a member of their creative team made the artwork, but they wouldn’t send out the original photo the drawing is based on. Nick isn’t buying it, asserting that his hair, beard, clothes and jewelry match, telling the Daily Mail, “Even the outline of the stubble is the same. It would be an enormous coincidence if it wasn’t me.” In a statement, the restaurant chain said, “All the artwork imagery on our Pizza Hut boxes, including this picture, feature employees from our creative agency and all of them provided consent for their photos to be used. We have not used any members of the public in this campaign and we can confirm that this photograph is not of Mr Richardson.” Nick’s not convinced, stating, “It all sounds a bit suspect to me.”
Excuse me? Is this guy crazy? That’s not him. Not even close. This British dad doesn’t have a case at all that it’s him on the box. Where does he get the go to think that Pizza Hut would deem him worthy of having his face placed on million and millions of pizza boxes? The fact that he’s going on an internet crusade to prove that it’s him is certified insanity. I’m actually embarrassed for him. He even went as far as to try and re-create the picture. Yikes. I hate to break it to him but he’s not nearly special enough to be hand delivered into the homes of millions of pizza lovers. Sorry.
Here’s what I’m getting at: That’s clearly Kevin Love. Clear as crystal. All of us knew it the second we saw the picture. Kevin Love has a hella strong case that it’s him because that is Kevin Love on all those pizza boxes. The face of #0 on the Cleveland Cavaliers is the face that’s on the boxes. He needs to get his lawyers to call the Pizza Hut lawyers and hammer out a deal. Pizza hut thought that sine the boxes are only in the UK that they could get away with it. No no no no no. The world is much smaller than it appears. If you slap an NBA player on a pizza box across the pond without permission, word is gonna make it’s way back real quick. Get that pizza money, K-Love.
